Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data NoticeMonitor collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. NoticeMonitor is a service for Chartered Accountant firms and tax practitioners that monitors client GSTINs for GST notices and tracks reply deadlines.
Who we are
NoticeMonitor is based in New Delhi, India ("we", "us"). For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at support@noticemonitor.com.
Data we collect
- Account details of registered firm users: name, email address, phone number (used for WhatsApp alerts, if enabled), firm name and role.
- Client data the firm authorises us to monitor: client GSTINs, client business names, and details of GST notices issued to those GSTINs (such as notice type, reference number, issue date, reply due date and notice documents).
- Service records: alert delivery records, alert preferences, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or third-party trackers.
How we use data
We use this data only to provide the NoticeMonitor service to the firm that signed up, including to:
- monitor the GSTINs the firm has added and detect new notices;
- send transactional alerts and deadline reminders to the firm's registered users;
- show the firm its notice register, documents and dashboard;
- respond to support requests and keep the service secure.
We do not use client data for advertising, and we do not sell personal data.
- We send transactional emails only: notice alerts, deadline reminders and account messages. We do not send marketing email from the alerting system.
- Alerts are sent only to registered users of a firm account who have opted in to receive them.
- Every user can change their alert preferences or unsubscribe at any time from their account settings or via the unsubscribe link included in each alert email.
- We process bounce and complaint notifications from our email provider. We automatically stop sending to addresses that hard-bounce or mark our emails as spam.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties, except with service providers who help us run NoticeMonitor, such as cloud hosting and email delivery (for example, Amazon Web Services) and message delivery for WhatsApp alerts. These providers process data only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose data where required by law.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit, access controls limited to people who need access, and secure cloud infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users and authorities of a personal data breach as required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep data for as long as the firm's account is active and as needed to provide the service. When an account is closed, we delete or anonymise its data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations. A firm or user can request deletion of their data at any time by writing to support@noticemonitor.com.
Your rights
We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent you have given, and raise a grievance with us. To exercise any of these rights, email support@noticemonitor.com.
Where a firm adds its clients' data to NoticeMonitor, the firm is responsible for having the authority to share that data with us for this purpose.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.
